Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe
There was an old woman
Who lived in a shoe.
She was a kindhearted mom
Who knew exactly what to do.
She raised all her children
With patience and love.
Never once did she give them
A spank, shake or shove.
Her children all learned
To be gental toward others,
And good parents too
When they became fathers and mothers.
From their days in the shoe
They learned this adout living:

~Recipe~
Peanut Butter & Jelly Cupcakes
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup warm water
1 box (1 lb 2.25 oz) yellow cake mix
3 large eggs
2 Tbsp oil
1/2 strawberry jam
Cooking Instructions
Heat oven to 350 F. Line 24 muffin cups with paper or foil liners (see Before You Start, above).
Put peanut butter and water in a large bowl. Beat with mixer on low speed until well blended. Add cake mix, eggs and oil; beat on low speed 1 minute to combine. Increase speed to medium and beat 2 minutes or until thickened and smooth. Spoon into lined cups. Place a teaspoon strawberry jam on top middle of each and press jam down slightly with back of the spoon.
Back 20 to 22 minutes until a wooden pick inserted near center of cupcakes comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack 5 minutes before removing cupcakes from pan to rack to cool completely.

~Recipe~

Super Delicious Apple Banana Bread
1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
2 ripe bananas, mashed (makes about 1 cup)
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup Simply Egg Whites
1 tsp vanilla
1 medium apple
Instructions
1. Peel and core the apple and chop/dice it up into small chuncks. Set aside.
2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a loaf pan (about 8x4 inches) with parchment paper.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and ginger. Make a well in the center.
4. Mash the bananas in a medium- sized bowl and beat in the applesauce, egg whites, and vanilla. Pour into the center of the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
5. Fold/stir the diced apple into the batter and when well-combined, pour into the prepared pan.
6. Bake for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes, then turn it out of the pan onto a wire rack. Cool completely before cutting.

Vanilla white is a popular flavor,
It tastes very good to an ice cream craver.
Purple ice cream really gives me a kick,
Good and yummy till the very last lick.
